The LG Optimus Q2 is the latest Android smartphone to make an appearance, offering a large 4-inch touchscreen and a full QWERTY keypad. Despite the addition of a proper keyboard, it measures just 12.3mm in depth, making it just as portable as the majority of touchscreen-only handsets.
We’ve seen loads of Android smartphones in the past couple of years, with little to differentiate lots of them. The LG Optimus Q2 stands out by virtue of its QWERTY keypad, making it the perfect handset for those wanting to type longer emails or text messages.
Unlike most smartphones with a keyboard, the Optimus Q2 isn’t bulky, with a slimline design that offers both functionality and style. The specs are impressive, too, with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor keeping things ticking along nicely.
The LG Optimus Q2 is set to head to South Korea in the near future. Would you buy the Q2 if it heads to these shores? Or do you think phones with keyboards are a thing of the past? Leave a comment and let us know.
